Answers to my Clients Most Common Questions
How many outfits can I wear at my session?
Depending on the amount of time we have, the number of outfits can vary. I would suggest if you are looking to wear 2-3 outfits that an hour or 90-minute session would work best. I would also suggest you wear your more casual outfit first.
How many pictures do I get?
I always try to give you as many pictures as I can but that all depends on the amount of time we have together and the flow of your day. For sessions, I guarantee 15 pictures for every 30-minutes. On your wedding day, I guarantee 50 pictures for every hour.
I am ready to book with you, what’s next?
Yay! There are many ways to contact me so we can reserve your date! You can always reach me by phone, email or the form on my contact page where I can reach out to you. Please allow 24-48 hour response time. To ensure your date is saved with me I require a signed contract and 30% deposit of the session or wedding package you have chosen.
What time of day will my session be?
The time of day will vary depending on what time of the year it is but the best time to have your session is in the morning around sunrise or in the evening around sunset. This is when the light is the prettiest and makes for a great photo!
When should I get my pictures?
I dedicate a fair amount of time to each image included in every client gallery to produce the very best finish product. For a family session or engagement my turn around time is 1-2 weeks. For a wedding it will be between 4-6 weeks.

Will I get to meet you before my wedding day?
Yes, I like to meet my couples at least twice before their wedding day. One of those meetings is during your engagement session. This allows us to get to know one another and also for you to feel more comfortable in front of the camera. I also like to meet at a local coffee shop and treat you to a drink! This is another time for us to get familiar with one another, you get to ask me any questions you may have, and we will also create your timeline for you wedding day! This will help us stay on time the day of and you will also know what to expect from me.
We are not sure if we want an engagement session, do you think we should?
Absolutely! Engagement session serve a dual purpose. Of course, you will get pictures that will take you back to this time in life where you are engaged but it also allows time for us to get to know one another. I feel it is very beneficial for us to feel comfortable with one another and then you are not meeting me face to face for the first time on your wedding day.
Can other people take pictures while you are taking pictures?
I prefer if guests do not take pictures (with any type of camera, phone included) while I am. Another cameras flash could possibly affect my photo. I also ask that guest do not enter the isle during the ceremony otherwise I may miss something important or have a guest included in the photos. I do reserve the right to kindly tell guests these rules. Plus, you hired me to photograph your wedding day, that’s why I’m here!
