Favorite Dinner Date Locations in the Dallas Area

Looking for some go-to, unique and new dinner spots in Dallas and the surrounding areas? I’ve got your back! Hear are six of my recent favorite dinner date restaurants in the Dallas area.

Haywire has two locations, one at Legacy West in Plano and another in Uptown. We also had great service even though we were one of the last tables served at the end of the night. They have an impressive and sophisticated drink selection and food options so you will need to make a reservation to ensure an available table.

Ebb & Flow is located in Deep Ellum and just opened up a second restaurant at The Shops at Legacy. They are known for their unique and memorable atmosphere and tasty cocktails! I have yet to try their brunch but I have heard it is a must try!

Harvest in Downtown McKinney  is a go-to favorite of mine! It has a cozy feel to it and often has live music on the weekend. I would suggest making a reservation but if you forget to, ask if you can sit at the bar as there is usually a few open seats. I recommend starting with the deviled eggs and you cannot go wrong with any main dish. A few of my favorites are Creole Pan Seared Shrimp, Pork Enchiladas and the Top Sirloin Steak.

Kai at Legacy West is the best Sushi spot and never disappoints! I love to start with the Spicy Edamame or the Shishito Peppers (yes, I like it spicy!) and the Hibiscus  Margarita.  It is a great place for a date night but also for a girls night out. I suggest sitting  near the bar in their lounge area for a less formal approach.

Eight 11 is a wine bar on Main St in Frisco that also offers live music on select nights. I come for the wine but The Board is a great starter or snack while sipping and relaxing. The atmosphere is laid back and the patio is perfect when the weather is nice.

Mi Cosina has multiple locations around the DFW area and I will start by saying they have the absolute best table side guacamole! I have always enjoyed their food as well as their cocktails.
